common questions:
Q1: The DP to USB C cable is not bi-directional.
A: Our usb-c to Displayport cable is bi-directional. It supports streaming from USB C phone/laptop/tablet to monitor using DisplayPort or streaming from DisplayPort Desktop/laptop to monitor using USB C port.
But please note that:
1. When you connect your USB-C enabled laptop/mobile phone/tablet to the DP equipped monitor, please make sure your USB-C host supports DP Alt or Thunderbolt 3 mode, otherwise it will not work!!!
2. When connecting DisplayPort PC to USB C monitor, please make sure that your USB-C monitor must support DisplayPort signal output.
3. One end must be a monitor, not support connecting to PC!!!
Question 2: The display keeps flashing.
A: Please make sure the usbc to dp cable is connected firmly and do not move your mobile phone/laptop and the cable while using, then restart your mobile phone/laptop to try again.
Q3: I connect my USB-C laptop to DP monitor using usb c dp cable but it doesn’t work.
A: If your USB-C laptop supports DP Alt Mode, but the cable doesn’t work, we suggest you:
1). Go to your laptop’s official website, update the BIOS and graphics driver, then restart your laptop to try again.
2). Set your laptop’s resolution to the same level as 1080p or lower.
Q4: It doesn’t work with 60Hz or HDR.
A: The display port to usbc cable supports maximum definition of 8K@60Hz and HDR. But please note that the display performance is subject to the host and external monitor. To experience 8K and HDR, both your USB-c and dp devices need to support 8K and HDR.
